JT's Tai Chi

JT’s Tai Chi teaches tai chi as a complete martial arts system. Classes include Chi Gong, Tai Chi forms and self defense applications, Chin Na, and Push Hands. Children, adults, and seniors are all welcome to participate in the practice of Tai Chi.

Tai Chi is a great way to relieve stress, improve balance, timing, coordination, and flexibility. The mind and body workouts of Tai Chi are kinder to the joints and muscles, and helps reduce tension that contributes to the developement of disease.

JT’s Tai Chi mainly practices tai chi chuan which is a self-paced system of gentle physical exercise and stretching. After taking tai chi classes with JT you will be able to perform a series of postures or movements in a slow, graceful manner.

Although, most commonly used for stress relief and exercise, Tai Chi was created in ancient China for self defense. The basic applications taught by JT's Tai Chi are designed to work with the body's natural reaction to danger. These basic applications are easy to learn, easy to do, easy to remember, and very effective.

Sifu Jim Truster is a certified Tai Chi instructor with over 15 years of experience. Also certified national martial arts tournament judge and experienced competitor.
